This is a great space to write a long text about your company and your services. You can use this space to go into a little more detail about your company. Talk about your team and what services you provide. Tell your visitors the story of how you came up with the idea for your business and what makes you different from your competitors. Make your company stand out and show your visitors who you are.

My Story

I speak and that makes me human. I speak my native language and that's easy. It makes me feel I belong, it makes me feel I have a connection.

Words always fascinated me - I used them to create imaginary worlds as a child, I continued

surrounding myself with stories as an adult and I never ran out of questions to make sense of the world and the people inhabiting it.

Language has also been for sharing: for making friends, for inspiring others, for making sense of my own thoughts and feelings and of others around me.

I felt secure in my world, because it all made sense - because I spoke the same language as everyone else.

Then it all fell apart when my family moved to a foreign country and from one day to the next I stopped understanding what people were saying and I could no longer say what I thought and felt.

I will never forget how helpless it can feel without access to the shared code of a common language.

It has motivated me ever since to help speakers of other languages with their communication needs.

I became an academic book translator from Hungarian into English as I was graduating as a lecturer of English and as an undergraduate literary researcher of Russian. Then I became an in-house translator and interpreter of Hungarian-English-Russian / translation team leader for some large global corporations in my native Hungary, before moving to the UK in 2009, where I continued to work as a freelance translator and interpreter for a range of British public and private sector clients.

I founded Babelfish Education and Language Services Ltd. in 2018.

I undertook a range of CPD and vocational training courses in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Neuroscience, Counselling, Supporting Specific Learning Difficulties as well as Language and Communication Difficulties.

I  am also trained in leadership skills, coaching, public speaking and many forms of personal development.

I offer a range of bespoke written and spoken translation and interpreting services both face to face and remotely (video and telephone) to therapists, other NHS professionals, social workers, family and criminal lawyers, local councils, local education authorities, schools, the police, and many others.

I like to look after my clients directly, but I have also built partnerships with large translation companies both in the United Kingdom and in Hungary.

This has given me a platform to service a really broad range of clients, including asylum seekers, immigration authorities, the Department of Work and Pensions, to name a few.

I cover the whole of the South-East of England when I story of how you came up with the idea for your business and what makes you different from your competitors. Make your company stand out and show your visitors who you are.
